The lab program aims to support students with a diagnosis of dyslexia and other reading deficits.
How does the Lab Services Program help the students?
How often do students attend Lab Services?
Students will be pulled strategically throughout the day in order to attend the lab. Depending on the class period length, it will be 2-4 times per week for about 120 minutes total. Students may be pulled in a group of up to 4 students. Depending on the degree of the reading deficit, it can be a 2-3-year course of instruction.
Initial and periodic progress reports are sent home to families to keep them informed of skills being learned, mastered and areas of growth.
